The last 4th of February was my husband’s birthday, and what better gift than to take him to Paris, one of the most romantic destinations in Europe!
We flew Lisbon – Beauvais, but this airport is not in Paris, so we had to take a bus to the center of Paris.
Before making the trip, I bought bus tickets, because on the internet we paid € 29 per person instead of € 35 (roundtrip) (Bus Beauvais – Paris). . The journey takes 1 hour and 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Once we arrived at the bus station Porte Maillot, we walked to the city center.
It was very cold, but we wanted to walk instead of taking the metro everywhere.
If you walk, you can appreciate the city in a better and different way.
Something that fascinates me about this city is the beautiful cafes it has. The Champs-Élysées avenue is one of the main and is full of these beautiful places.
Even the clothing stores have an entrance as beautiful as this one down here.

Metro: Louvre – Rivoli
The Louvre Museum is FREE on the first Sunday of every month, from October to March. And if you are a European citizen under 26 years old, it is free throughout the year, otherwise, you have to pay € 15.

Metro: Anvers
The church Sacre-coeur is located in Montmartre, it is a very typical neighborhood of art. You must be more careful in this area as there are many pickpockets.
Once you’re in Sacre-cour, you can walk to «Le mur des Je t’aime»
It is a mural that has written I love you in all languages, this really can’t be missed.
Metro: Abbesses
For the French cinema lovers, this café will be a mandatory stop.
«Les Deux Moulins» where they filmed one of the most classic films of the French cinema Amélie.
And just one street down you can see the moulin rouge.
Walking in the city at night is something you can’t miss. The city looks unbelievably beautiful
Notre Dame

Visiting Paris in winter is very nice, and we never imagined that it was going to snow. We were very lucky to see the whole white city, but it was so cold.
Here I can show you Paris in summer!
Oh you literally took me back to Paris through this write up!!! Great one 🙂
